In this corner, Denver . . . and in this corner, St. Paul

The Seattle Times makes Denver and St. Paul unwilling competitors of each other for “best place to visit” prize.

Denver comes off as the hip city of the Rocky Mountain West. St. Paul enchants with historic buildings and quaint neighborhoods.

Each thinks itself superior to the other, kind of like the opposing political parties whose conventions they’re hosting this month.
